Welcome to the Methodist Family Child Care Center!
The primary goal of the Methodist Family Child Care Center is to provide a warm, loving, and intellectually stimulating environment for the children.
Let's Grow Together!
When you see a group of happy children admired and respected by the grown-ups they spend time with every day, you know you've found a flourishing beginning for lives both young and precious.
Quality Early Childhood Care
The Methodist Family Child Care Center (MFCCC) offers quality early care and education for children 6 weeks old through kindergarten and summer camp (ages 6-10). Our goal is to provide a warm, loving and intellectually stimulating environment for children. We can accommodate up to 160 children at any given time (220 during summer months).
Although our primary focus is Methodist employees, the community is welcome to use the facility as well. In fact, about 50% of the children at MFCCC are not children of Methodist employees. MFCCC is DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services) licensed and far exceeds their minimum quality expectations. The teachers and staff enjoy working at here, which shows through their loyalty and attitude.
MFCCC has a private kindergarten, which provides one-on-one attention to 12 children each year. The teacher is certified by the Illinois State Board of Education and the curriculum exceeds State expectations. We are closed only on the same holidays as the Methodist Medical Center.
We believe parents are looking for a Child Care Center where teachers and staff:
- Pay attention to their child.
- Treat their child as a special individual.
- Respond to their child naturally with warmth, enthusiasm and nurturing guidance.
Where are we located?
Just across I-74 from the hospital on the Methodist East Campus. We're located in the Northeast side of the Methodist College of Nursing building.
"I came to the Methodist Child Care Center because I wanted to work for the best possible childcare and found it has a rock-solid foundation. The teachers here shine! They continue to amaze me every day with the quality of care they provide. They know how to teach the kids in a developmentally appropriate way."
