It is very short video raising awareness and sensitivity to the topic of poverty created by Nova Scotians right here in Amherst .
When I viewed it the quote from http://www.unnaturalcauses.org/ came to mind…. poverty is the number one determinant of health.
Here in the valley we have formed our own local poverty coalition which is working on a policy paper about rural versus urban poverty. What are you doing in your area to draw attention to the effects of poverty on health????
